The main section of Pyxis is the Desktop (shown left). In previous version the desktop browsed the Apps folder on your primary drive and loaded the icons for every app it could find one at a time. Now we've implemented LNK files (similar to Windows®) which contain the name of the application, its location on the drive and its associated icon. This allows the desktop to load significantly faster than previous versions as well as only display applications that you've sent to the Desktop.
